The Asia-Europe Foundation University Alumni Network (ASEFUAN) AISBL (www.asefuan.org) and the Institute for Globalization and International Regulation (IGIR, www.igir.org) of the Maastricht University are pleased to announce that the ASEFUAN/IGIR Dialogue on Trade & Competition in the Global pharmaceutical industry took place on 6 May 2011 at the Brussels Campus of the Maastricht University.
1. Topic and Concept of the ASEFUAN Dialogues May 2011
The May edition of the ASEFUAN/IGIR Dialogues discussed the competition issues and their implication on pharmaceutical industry. The organizers invited some of the high-profile experts of the field and had a very lively and though-provoking discussions.
The subtopics were as follows:
- Implication of the new rules on Horizontal Cooperations on competition in pharma industry
- EU regulations on generic and biosimilar drugs from competition point of view
